HEAT FOR HEROES WAS CREATED AS A WAY TO SAY "THANK YOU" TO VETERANS IN OUR AREA AND HELP KEEP THEM WARM ALL WINTER LONG.
And thanks to your submissions for the 2021 Heat for Heroes program, we’re excited to announce American Legion Post 140 will receive up to $1,500 in home heating oil this winter as one of our program recipients. We are so appreciative of our partnership with Charley with a Y Foundation to be able to help multiple veterans this year.

“On behalf of Colonel Charles Young American Legion Post #140 we thank you for your generous donation of heating oil. Your grant of $1500 dollars “Heat for Heroes” has allowed the post to save the money needed to purchase heating oil for the remaining winter months. Please convey our sincere appreciation to all who have been involved in helping veterans through this generous program and we look forward to a continued relationship with Economy Fuel for all our heating needs.”
Nominations for our 2022 Heat for Heroes program will open september 11.
